Itinerary

Airport pick up and greet service on arrival, followed by a transfer to your hotel. Acclimatise at the hotel pool until the early evening, when your guide and driver escort you to a contemporary restaurant to sample Cambodian cuisine.

Transfer back to the hotel, or to Pub Street and the night market to explore on your own. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Start your private tour of Angkor Wat, a world heritage site listed by UNESCO in 1992 and the largest religious monument in the world. Built in the first half of the 12th century by King Suryavarman II, it is designed to represent Mount Meru, home of the devas in Hindu mythology.

After lunch continue with the Angkor Archaeological Park: Bayon, Baphuon, Terrace of the Elephants, Terrace of the Leper King and the Royal Plaza. Visit the Artisan Angkor wood and stone carving centre and stroll around the old market before returning to your hotel for sunset and dinner.

From around 08:30am, visit the carved pink sandstone temple of Banteay Srei, a Jewel of Khmer art with elaborate decoration and fine detail, widely praised as a precious gem.

On the way back, visit a palm sugar village and enjoy a typical Khmer set menu lunch at Bong Thom restaurant, a Khmer traditional contemporary house. In the afternoon, optional visit to Ta Prohm, adorned with stunning tree roots, where the Lara Croft Tomb Raider movie was filmed. Enjoy the sunset at Bakheng mountain. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Tour starts at 08:30am from The Blanc Residence to the Roluos group, about 13 km east of Siem Reap along NH6, once the seat of Hariharalaya, the first capital of the Khmer Empire north of the Tonle Sap.

The group is composed of Bakong, Lolei and Preah Ko, along with the smaller Prasat Prei Monti; at Bakong and Lolei there are contemporary Theravada Buddhist monasteries.

Continue to the local market around 09:30am to see how people live in the community, before reaching Kampong Phluk village. In the dry season, November to April, many turn to farming as the water recedes. As of 2019 the commune has 911 families and 3,707 people across Tnaot Kambot, Dey Krahom and Kok Kdol.
